I just saw the gameplay footage of Legends. I counted four variants. I don’t doubt they’ll be transferable to the main games at some point. Also, has the Dark Souls of Pokemon memes started yet?

The growlithe uses different typing, so that points to a regional. Bird probably does as well.

They all are, according to the site. Fish is ghost/water, deer is normal/psychic, and bird is flying/psychic.
