Some humans are vegans. But they can still be eaten, so I suppose there’s a connection.
 
But what I mean is, humans (and human-owned Pokemon) don’t consider the risk of being eaten as normal or natural, while most wild Pokemon do. And even if they eat meat, they’re more likely to buy it than hunt it themselves.
