Gen 5 had that bad game where you get your Pokemon from a previous gen. And Triple battles with Rotation battles were introduced and sadly forgotten and oh the worst thing in the game the musical what the hell dress up thing was.

And yeah, both Triples and Musical could have maybe used some more work, or at least prominence.

And I still miss contests.
 
And single player stuff in general.

I like the contests and the Game Corner, especially over Voltorb Flip. I actually never tried out the Pokethlon or the Poke Walker, I like how it has the GB Printer theme.

I’m a big fan of single player content in these games. But does this include the battle facilities for you as well?

I wanted to get into the Pokeathlon but I could never decide on how I wanted to decide my Pokemon’s stats. I wasn’t sure if they were like Gen 3 and 4 contest stats were you had a limit to how many Pokeblocks/Poffins you could use.

I hated the Game Corner and Voltorb Flip and I hope neither ever comes back.

All the Pokemon Games have some form of Single Player. All of them including Gen 8 which has the weakest content.

There really is no more need for the Game Corner now that TMs are unlimited and grinding up items is much easier these days.

Not necessarily as you can do anything you want there, and it is single player and not multiplayer.
