The 1930s Germans sure like making things huge.

We technically do but they’re not bullet train fast. Our fastest is the Acela Express with a top speed of 150mph. Then the ACS64 with a top speed of 125mph. And our GEnesis series of locomotives have a top speed of 110mph. The Charger locomotives I think have a top speed of 125mph. All have either some or all of the trains built in Amtrak’s fleet. So fast but not compared to other countries.
