Every creature has a ‘too-hot’. Even the ones that spit fire.
 
And, fatigue is chemical as well as physical.

I’d assume the ‘too hot’ point would be higher or lower depending on the affinity they each have.

I mean, if you REALLY want to get into it, one could claim hellhounds, being a dog-like monster, don’t sweat (because dogs don’t sweat through their skin), they just pant.
 
HOWEVER, they do sweat in areas with no fur (nose, paw pads, etc), so we could make a case that hellhounds sweat through the areas of their bodies that are fur-less.
