I like the idea of being able to rematch spirits whenever you want now but without dealing with the random nature of the normal spirit board.

Well, Sakurai talked about updating spirit fights based on DLC you have, like with the Cuphead fight. I imagine the Min-Min spirit will be Min-Min for real now.

Yeah, that was also interesting. I wonder if he has plans to do that for all the spirit fights, both the ones in the story mode and spirit board, that have mii costumes.

Also, the fanbase is obviously going to have a lot of fun with Captain falcon eating Ramen.

Female Byleth doesn’t count because the “default” skin is Male Byleth.

I guess that’s easier to justify for a fighting game, especially one that doesn’t have a long running storyline like Street Fighter.
