Doesn’t change the fact he’s going to need to replace it at some point. You saw it, he needs to be able to use One for All like Gran Torino showed him but he still sees it as a finisher rather than, say armament Haki.
 
That means getting gadgets (in the meantime) to compensate for the fact he can’t punch without getting borderline armless

So the most obvious thought is that he is going to MODIFY his costume not change it entirely.

Not at first of course. Still too attached to All Might emotionally. Reticence to switch to a more proper costume, understandable.

When you sneak into your bros room to chill out shirtless under the blanket and watch him play video games.
