Truthfully, I don’t think Zelda fans for those most part are that bad, and almost every gamer who has touched a Nintendo controller love at least one Zelda game, so almost every gamer is a Zelda fan. So honestly to judge most Zelda fans by a few unpleasant fanboys isn’t really fair.

I love pretty much every Zelda game, (even Zelda 2) so it’s hard for me to pick a favorite. “Link’s Awakening” has a soft spot in my heart though, as it was basically the first Zelda with an ongoing story, with plot-twists, and such.
It’s also one of the strangest of the old Zelda’s.

Is it reasonable to say that most LoZ Fans think that Ocarina of Time, A Link to the Past, Twilight Princess & maybe BotW/TotK are considered to be in the Conversation of the Best in the Franchise? (not counting the Zelda Games for GB, GBA or DS)
Or are some outthere that put Majora’s Mask upthere aswell? (because I know some didn’t like the Time Limit System & the Feel of having to rush the Game instead of just enjoying it without any Pressure really what a Zelda Game in a lot of Fans Mind should be the Case)
Oh and do actually certain Fans put Wind Waker in that Conversation too?

Link must pass tests set up not by zelda/hyrila or the goddesses or whatnot but by his precious incarnations-that is The Links from previous games. to test his skill and inherit a special item each one wielded.

I remember the Castlevania developers regretted releasing a timeline for that series, because it kinda messed things up, and limited them a bit.

So honestly not everything needs continuity. Heck, every Final Fantasy game pretty much has it’s own individual universe and canon.

Continuity can be done with certain Franchises, but yeah a lot of those don’t necessarily need that & should just let People themselves make up the Timeline in their own Mind connecting the Dots in a What if way.

Yeah I know there exists one Timeline Book released “officially” by Nintendo or whoever it really was in fact, but like I said it has no Legs to stand on, so many Inconsistent Gaps & Holes that just translate as “Yeah let’s get a Timeline Book outthere just for the sake of it without any actual Legitimacy behind it” XD

Doesn’t change that there is an official timeline, and since you can’t prove it really was thrown together wishy-washy (since what we got is most likely not what they have due to details being left out for internal reasons) means this is going nowhere.

I suppose for me it’s most versions of Zelda herself, I’m also quite fond of Mipha (BotW), Twili Midna, Marin (Link’s Awakening), Purah (TotK), Impa (Hyrule Warriors), and Sonia (TotK).
