Only in the European version, which can screw you out of both the fourth bottle and the Mirror Shield. The European version also never stocks the Bomb Bag upgrade at Stockwell's shop for some bizarre reason.


 
And the Light Arrows are permanently missable if you don't do a certain Kinstone fusion and save Gregal from the ghost before you "officially" reach that area much later in the game. But that's actually intentional.
