The M&P 15 isn’t bad. I’d probably swap the stock and the pistol grip but overall I’ve heard they’re great for the money.

Yeah, I’ve seen prices around the $500 range. Probably could convince him to get a nice optic with it, and more mags.

I went with an EOTech 552 on mine, had an EXPS3 paired with a G33 on there originally but put those on a different gun.

If I get a better job in these next few months before my birthday I could get it with my own cash. all dependent on if my car still has issues or not

Here’s my M&P 15-22 that I’ve been talking about. It’s been nice little gun, just looking for a bigger caliber in case the government tries anything.

I believe the US Army still uses this as their official sidearm. I think the LAPD also uses this gun.

It was. LAPD uses Glocks now.

I though Glocks were illegal in Commiefornia, at least the new ones. But I understand if there is an exception for cops and other government agents.

Gen 4+ are illegal to buy new for civilians but not law enforcement. Weirdly, you can buy a gen 4 or 5 Glock here legally as a civilan too but only if it’s used.

Feeds like shit and you have to re-zero the thing after each reload. The magazine alone should be the poster child for why drum magazines are grossly overrated given their reliability issues. It’s why 3D-printing enthusiasts are sticking to tried-and-true designs like glock and stanag mags for the time being. Boost Willis is working on replicating the P90 magazine design, and it holds a lot of promise for those of us whom want to design properly ambidextrous 3D-printed guns.

And I’m willing to bet that Commiefornia will have a big fuss if someone is theoretically crazy enough to drive to Nevada, Arizona or Oregon; buy a new Gen. 4+ Glock there and then bring it home.
