Hulu’s missing a bunch of Bleach episodes right now for some fuckin’ reason, and since it’s the only streaming service that currently has the show, there’s essentially no legal way to stream those episodes as of now.

And executives wonder why people still want Blu-rays and DVDs to exist…

Well, you could always stream stuff illegally…

I’m planning to see it, though my plan to avoid seeing any trailers ended up failing after I watched the trailer on GKIDS’ website. You know, like when Ghibli didn’t show anything about it until it hit theaters as a surprise?

Holding off on the Zom 100 manga until the missing volume is filled in is pain. The latest dozen or so chapters are already available, I’m just stalled at the missing chapters before I get them. I’m ready to order! Just finish translating Viz!

So um…what exactly is “Spy x Family”? Because they just announced a game starring Anya, the pink-haired girl (I think?).

A really good show about a family.

It just so happens that the father is a spy trying to prevent a war, and in order to do that he needs to go undercover with a family to do so. The mother is an assassin and needs a family for a cover story. The daughter is an orphan who can read minds, and loves the excitement of the above. Oh and the family dog can see the future.

It’s every bit as absurd as it sounds, but is actually very wholesome.

Even better? The spy doesn’t know she’s an assassin, he thinks she’s just a normal woman. And the assassin doesn’t know he’s a spy, she thinks he’s just a normal man. The girl knows who both of them are, due to her psychic abilities, but doesn’t tell either of them because it’s funnier that way.

It’s even better. Anya doesn’t tell them because it’s more waku waku like that.

Also, Anya’s expressions alone are worth the price of admission.

When I go see “Spirited Away” next month for Ghibli Fest 2023, the final movie in the lineup, I’m going to have someone take a pic of me taking a bow at the cardboard picture of the movie lineup as an “accomplishment”.

One of the few animes you can show a family member and not feel embarrassed by it

I finished episode 42 of the 2003 Fullmetal Alchemist anime today. For a while, I was feeling a bit underwhelmed by the series, but now, I’d probably say it’s a top 10 anime for me.

I really can’t wait to get to Brotherhood.

Reincarnated as a Vending Machine got renewed for a second season. I’m really excited because that show is a lot better than the name suggests.

Zom 100 finally made it to Beatrix’s introduction. Neat.

It’s crazy to me that the most watched anime currently right now is Jobless Reincarnation season 2 and it’s about… erectile disfunction

Man, I hear nothing but good things about it. But any time I look into the premise and stuff about it I just get the same impression as what happened with Darling in the Franx: weebs will stan any trash put in front of them as long as it’s as horny as they are.
