So I did just recently post about how anime fans act like R/MA-rated content are the mark of “mature” cartoons, didn’t I?
Is the Sword Art Online series really that bad?
@ExtreVile
From what I’ve seen of it, no it’s not.
It’s actually rated pretty well on Anilist, at least.
@ExtreVile
It is actually pretty good. Even worst arc is not bad beyond few elements.
@Random-Rambling
I don’t feel like the premise is much of a stretch. It’s not that far from “this video game is haunted.”Video games are regulated, but I don’t think the physical consoles are, right? I mean, the guy could’ve just had that feature turned off during testing and turned it on after release.
@Random-Rambling
>microwave emitterWow, really? I assumed it was magic. I mean, microwaves are not that dangerous. They’re non-ionizing, so they’re not a huge risk of radiation poisoning or cancer. The threat would be the heat, but I don’t think one on a headset would heat your head up that fast. I guess it’s the future, and they have really good batteries?Why not just have the device explode?
