I’m sure it’s not as bad as forcing someone to be their slave just to stay in school and that is seen as fine because the victim just accepts it and people love that. Apparentally.

I mean, Dandadan is a series about trying to get your balls back. Anybody who takes it seriously is not meant to be taken seriously.

As long as it’s played up as a turning your brain off type show, it should be fine

Is My Hero Academia a good manga/anime. I remember people saying it was the perfect anime and then people started to give it a hard time for not being so good.

As someone who loved Naruto and Bleach, does it hold up to those anime giants?

It’s a very high quality show.

It just kinda keeps trucking along, much like Naruto or Bleach. Never really dropping in quality but feeling like it’s longer than it really had to be.

I feel like the series probably would’ve ended earlier this year if it weren’t for the author’s copious amount of health issues and his stubborn refusal to just take a fucking break.

But for now, it’s slowly inching it’s way to the end.

Not only does it hold up to them, it rivals them.

It and Fairy Tail are pretty much the better long running shows around when it comes to the range and development of its colorful characters and power system.

I personally like JJK and Chainsaw Man and Jigokuraku much better, but JJK’s on the shorter side, Chainsaw Man’s on the weirder side, and Jigokuraku is on the darker side.

I went and saw Boy and The Heron today. It was fine. Felt a bit long-winded.

The thing about Miyazaki movies is you can categorize them into two different categories. Slice of life adventures, and commentaries on war and fighting. And I don’t think the movie knows what exactly it wants to be. It was good, but I thought his last movie The Wind Rises was way better.

I will say that the animation was easily the best part of the movie. The artstyle felt a bit like a modern day version of Spirited Away. I would go so far as to say this might be Miyazaki’s most visually impressive movie he’s ever made.

Apparently the series was written as a dare. Like, they were dared to write 100 unique, in-depth characters in one story. This is probably on top of defying the expectation that most female characters in harem stories are shallow, cardboard cutouts.

Undead Unluck is finally getting dubbed tomorrow.

Ben Balmaceda as Andy is rather unorthodox (I was personally hoping for Patrick Seitz), and so is Amber Lee Conners as Gina (who for some reason is referred to as Gena by TMS USA), but I have faith that they’ll pull it off.

After all, at least it’s getting dubbed to begin with (yes, I’m still salty over Edens Zero Season 2 being sub only).

I went and saw Tokyo Godfathers for the first time yesterday. It was a masterpiece.

It’s been announced that there’s going to be a One Piece anime remake based on the live action series and it’s going to be done by WiT Studios
