Oh. Okay. So Aggretsuko went from Retsuko struggling with her finances and dating life, to Retsuko accidentally forming Babymetal.
 
Is this the point where this show turns into the final season of Roseanne?

The original final season. The one that everyone hated, where the family won the lottery and became rich.

Though I do love how Retsuko describes the F chord. Even as a pretty good guitarist, I still struggle with that one.

I kind of wish the plot point of being insecure about having a flat chest was taken more seriously in anime. It’s almost always played for comedy. I’d just like for once to see the trope be done in a more realistic fashion, like maybe it causes the person to enter a long, substantial depression or it causes them to self harm. Because in real life, body image is a big deal for a lot of people and I feel constantly making a joke of it takes the piss out of it. And yeah, I know it’s anime and anime is far from realistic, but I feel like a topic like that being down in a serious manner hasn’t been done all that much. Toradora did it, but even then jokes were made about Taiga being flat chested and how envious she was of Ryuuji’s mom’s boobs. I’m talking 100% serious, like something you’d see in real life. Because for a lot of people, if they don’t look a certain way, they won’t be accepted by society and will end up dying alone.

I think that would only convince more that it’s a genuine problem ad not something you can grow to accept.
 
But maybe I’m just weird.

I think the biggest strength of Uzaki-chan is that it’s different from other romcoms. It focuses more on comedy than romance or drama.
 
Also, the chemistry between the main protagonist and Uzaki is really good. They play off each other well.

I find the breast envy trope annoying. I’ve only ever seen it used for comedy though.

What’s stopping them from just being shut down again? They didn’t get shut down because of one company (or even several) making copyright claims, they got shut down because Japan itself tightened the law on this sort of thing.
