It’s like if two tsunderes are each trying to get the other to submit. Normally, it’d be cringy, but they make it work somehow.

Looks like the SimulDub is back on track for My Hero Academia. No word on the other ones though.

was watching Sword Art Ainlcad episodes to refamillerate and catch up.  
got to the point where the cut down the tree and he picks his new ‘Calling’…  
and was reminded of a Comic (mostly web but has/had books) called Tales of Questor.  
sans the giant burst of Light Quenton set off…

So, I watched the first two episodes of Bleach.
 
Guys, do you think I should continue watching it? I’ve heard it gets really good about 13 or so episodes in, but I don’t know.

First arc is interesting and moderately refreshing. Soul Society arc is great. It goes downhill after that.

I liked bleached, but the first arc is a slow burner
 
Do watch the 13 episodes and if still doesn’t hook you enough then just drop it.
 
Same goes for one piece though that one i say after 20 episodes is the checkpoint on whether you keep watching it or not.

Bleach started outgreat til you get to a certain part then it gets bad. I would say after the first arc you will notice a dive dip.

I take it’s one of those shows where things get convoluted?

Not convoluted so much as eventually self-indulgent on top of ditching many of its more unique and interesting features for generic shounen tropes.

agreed, bleach starts.. slow, on everything and then abruptly throws it all into high gear.. and keeps shifting UP.
 
but yeah skip the last arc, its naught but ‘lets smash the Godzilla threashhold’ over and over again.  
just like Shippuden did.

Bleach went the exact same road as Saint Seiya did during it’s original run and I find that surprisingly scary and still hilarious.

Yeah I heard Naruto Shippuden got bad at the end. I think it just got more and more insane as power level keeps creeping up.
 
I want Boruto to do the same thing Shippuden did only get more insane as time goes on.

So, the show’s good aside from the final arc?

yes both Bleach and Naruto Shippuden are kickass other then the last arc -ish
