Guy is better at than than Lyn. Most units are if you give them a killer axe, since they can survive an attack/counterattack where Lyn can’t.

Brawler loses use of Axes when they promote. How did everybody miss this?

Eliwood is the worst lord in the game.  
Hector is the best lord.

Eliwood gains a horse on promotion, making him better than the foot-locked Lyn. He also can double with his legendary weapon, where Lyn can’t.

I don’t think Lyn has too. She has better speed than him.

The Sol Katti, the legendary weapon added just for her, has 14 weight, so odds are she isn’t doubling anything that your better units or even Eliwood wouldn’t be.

You mean the discount rapier? She’s going to use that up quickly, and effective damage in Blazing Sword is only x2 damage instead of x3, making it not very good. There’s a reason players who want to play effectively just use the powerful mounted units like Paladins and Dracoknights to do the important stuff and leave the lords in a corner.

But that’s the only thing separating her from Guy, as well as Guy being able to promote much easier than Lyn, so why use a better version of her instead? And why not just use Raven, who can take a hit unlike Lyn, and who doesn’t rely on crits to deal damage?

But Lyn is somehow better than Eliwood anyways.
 
Eliwood all he get is a horse and he still sucks. You need to boost his stats with other stat items for him to be “Good”
 
Lyn doesn’t really need the items she is fast that her gest.

Comparing Eliwood’s and Lyn’s stat average, the differences aren’t that much, meaning that the mount and access to lances is a significant advantage to Lyn’s foot-lock and bows. And excess speed is overkill. There’s also con and bases to consider, with Eliwood having 2 more con and than 3 after promotion makes up for his base speed being only 2 points lower than hers, as well as promoted Eliwood gaining a point on promotion, something that Lyn doesn’t get.

For both Hector and Lynn it doesn’t take much time.

How? The difference between Lyn and Eliwood is that Eliwood has more durability.
