It’s because many think it strays to close to pedophilia and child porn.
It certainly doesn’t help that the anime “art-style” tends to make characters look younger than they actually are.
Add on top of that the fantasy elements (such as the ever-popular “little girl who’s actually 900 years old”), which is seen by some as an excuse/cop-out….

I know. A lot of us just want to be careful. Personally, I want to give those artists the benefit of the doubt and ask why they like drawing loli/cub/foalcon. I believe most of them aren’t legit pedophiles and I want to be right about that.
And we have Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid that continues to push that trope to its limit. Don’t get me wrong, I like that anime/manga though but oh man is it the poster child for controversy when it comes to the “is it loli?” debate.

Its funny how Saikawa almost started as a Diamond Tiara-type character but when Kanna used her charm, Saikawa just went “Welp, I’m a lesbian now”
How so? I feel Saikawa is more in control of herself and likeable than Tootie, then again more likable than every Fairly Oddparents character since my tolerance for that show’s sense of humor has lost its patience over the years.
Well she and Timmy did get together in the live-action movies unless you want to act like they never happened. Seriously, I know one guy who is probably fine with them just because Timmy and Tootie got together in the end.

Youtuber Quinton-Reviews has made videos about the FOP live-action movie trilogy and goes over their problems quite well. In my opinion, people who are fine with these movies just because they are hardcore Timmy X Tootie shippers really don’t seem to have high standards.
