Nope. First half has you scavenging whatever you find as you jump from one point on the map to another. Then you’re locked out of the outside of the villa and stuck inside the casino for the rest.

I read to use the trash can next to the exit to the bunker. I assume that the world doesn’t reset and remember selecting the gate to leave the DLC, giving me a chance to loot the trash.

Oh you mean before the DLC?
Yeah after you enter it all your stuff is placed in a newly spawned footlocker. You can grab it after you leave the Sierra Madre.

If I can remember… The fountain area have good places to storage things, since some of the crates that dont respaw stuff. There is the trashcan on the clinic, and some suitcases inside the hotel.

I read that very few containers in game respawn. No idea why any of the containers in a DLC you can never return to would have containers respawn.

I think there are also many storages in the main game that dont respawn items, which make them safe to store your things. Maybe the programers forgot about it? Anyway, having many of those is usefl if you get overencumbered in the last part of the game

Well, I made a save before storing my stuff in the trash next to the door to be safe. Hopefully it will work.

Closest thing to gate where you leave DLCs. You already will be overloaded from casino and vault loot so no point wasting time and going to other places to gather your other loot

And I now have Dean (made sure to not select the barter option). Lastly is the mute.

Felt like playing FO4 and finishing the Silver Should quest for Hancock approval. Sinjin was being too much of a pain so I used the “kill” console command om him so Kent would live. It didn’t kill him, but it did disable his AI, so I was able to kill him before he killed Kent.

I finally decided to do a Melee/Tank build, using Fallout New Vegas, with Tales of Two Wastelands installed.
Everything is 90% planned already. Thinking on playing on Hardcore mode too.
First starting with the FO3 storyline, and finish with NV’s.
Maybe I will go to the lone wanderer run, since I am worried that all my companions will die, but will complete their quests anyway.

Dead Money isn’t fun. It all looks ugly and melts together too much, there are too many collectables, and a DPS fog that discourage explorations and explosive speakers/radios are not fun things when mashed together.

Appropriately, there is an impassable forcefield called “pesky forcefield” internally that AFAIK can only be passed with noclip. In the same area there’s a speaker that requires frame-perfect speedrunning to pass, so you’re better off just noclipping there as well. TBH I’d rather go through what Puppysmiles went through than play Dead Money again. And people say NV is the best Fallout…

Still trying to get everyone into their places. I’ll tackle that when I get to it.

Frankly I think Dead Money doesn’t go far enough.
Like, it’s very much the “gimmick” DLC. But it’s not confident in any of the gimmicks it does, so rather than commit it just leaves a bunch of half-assed ideas strung together.

Either way, I spend months on that DLC alone because it’s a slog to me. And the number of shotgun traps that gives you shotgun shells but not the shot is far past ridiculous.

I think the three companions will live. Honestly, I just want this DLC over with, though I am still collecting everything.

Well Dog/God will require a pretty high skill check in their confrontation. I forget which skill, but you’re most likely max level (or close enough) anyway so it’s moot.
With Dean if you passed your Barter checks then no, he’s gonna try and kill you. Though it’s for the better, Dean living is the bad ending.
I forgot the living condition with the last one just like a forgot her name. And I’m sad about that; she was an interesting character.

Speech, and it has been at 100 for awhile (most of my skills are or can be at 100 with a magazine).
I didn’t do that check with him, and I want to do a “everyone lives” ending for the achievement. Not like I’ll care enough to do this again.
I think for her, not pulling a sneaky is the requirement. I’ll look it up when I need to to be safe.
