I understand the problem that people have with this, it’s no different from the Siamese cats from Lady & the Tramp, but people forget especially since they probably haven’t seen the movie is that all the Alley Cats are suppose to be based off different nationalities

Scat Cat is suppose to be based off Louis Armstrong and he’s African American.

Hit Cat is English and a hippie type character.

Peppo is Italian.

Billy Boss is Russian.

And of course we have our Siamese cat: Shun Gon voiced by Paul Winchell (the same voice as Tigger).

They didn’t even try with the cats in Lady and the Tramp. They knew “Siamese if you preease” wouldn’t fly today so they just had two random cats jump around until the scene was over.
Ugh I’m remembering how bad the cgi was now. I don’t want to think about the bad remakes anymore.

So it looks like Disney has effectively shuttered Marvel as a standalone unit. The comics, licensing and games units are being dispersed through other Disney units, with Buckley and Feige now in total control of the Marvel brand.

Maia Kealoha will be playing Lilo in the live action Stitch movie.
I’m glad they cast a Hawaiian native, and I’m hoping Stitch turns out looking good.

Question: Why is Phil in Hercules not called Chiron? Philoctetes was not even a centaur it seems!

One could argue they are less stereotypical then said “Asian” character, but at this point people get offended nowadays if a character has so much as has an accent of any kind…

I actually see people online try to argue Apu’s accent (Simpsons) doesn’t exist, and “Hollywood made it up.” So wait, they think all Indian people sound like white American or British people? (Sounds like “cultural apropriation” to me)…
People have accents, heck we all have them and not know it. (I’m told I sound “Californian,” whatever that means lol)

Another issue is, erasing or replacing characters, because of their nationality/accent might be “offensive” is basically getting rid of diversity. Some people can relate to certain accents. (Though, not saying a character has to be just like you, in order to apreciate them.)

The Lilo and Stitch remake almost got rid of Bubbles for similar reasons, but apparently they’re reinstating him after backlash. (Bubbles was one of my favorite characters. So I’m happy they are keeping him.)

I don’t believe the Cobra bubbles thing.
I only saw one Twitter reporting on a new character reporting on a new character and it was 1 I never heard of before.
Also the actual Cobra actor was announced Roughly 2 days after that

I’m getting The idea that people are spreading lies to Make the movie look worse so it will flop in ratings. I’ve seen multiple videos on tick talk of videos on tick talk of people reacting to that ai picture like it’s real even though it looks more like a standing puppet
Which kind of makes me want to watch the movie in protest

So about what happened at Disneyland’s Fantasmic show… did Mickey use his 2% power like Shaggy?

I know you guys are getting sick of me saying the same thing, but… I’m looking forward to it! (And mom’s coming along for the first time since Frozen 2)

With the lilo and stitch remake it’s been over 20 years i wonder if the ending will be like the final version or the original version

Call me crazy, but Wish’s animation movement remind me of Paperman.

I’m looking forward to seeing that, it looks like an actual traditional Disney movie, the animation also looks nice as it kinda has a blend of cgi and watercolors. It also looks like a musical which will be great, and hopefully the villain in this film will actually be good (by which I mean classic evil).

You just got me to watch Paperman. That was a beautiful love story. It reminds of me of when I used to make paper planes as a young kid.

And I see how Wish has that aesthetic similiarity. That’s almost traditional.

I don’t think there is a conspiracy against the movie, I think people don’t like it, because they feel Disney is going overboard on the remakes. (And truthfully, none are better then the animated original.)

Kinda like their straight-to-video sequel rampage in the late 1990s, and 2000s.

Dude Like I said people were believing an ai picture That looked more like a stand in puppet. It feels like it’s gone past expecting it to be bad to wanting

I just bought Disney Dreamlight Valley on Switch, standard version.
