I’m convinced now. Bone is never going to get a movie or show. I mean, this is, what, the fourth or fifth time a movie or show project has been announced?

They lost a lot of money so are reining in animation fired the people who greenlight all the non boss baby style/level animation

Also spider verse 2 has been delayed till next June

So Bone is once again without a series… But at least Big Mouth gets to have a seventh season and a spinoff, right? >:(

At this point, the cartoon community’s next punching bag is The Boss Baby.

And then in a few years, someone will avenge the Boss Baby by bashing a well written cartoon either from Netflix or DreamWorks.

Doubtful. Jeff Smith already tried Nickelodeon/Paramount in his first attempt to adapt Bone in the early 2000s. They wanted to make it one movie instead of a series, and tried to dumb it down for kids and put pop songs like Britney Spears and *NSYNC in the soundtrack. So I doubt he’ll be going back to them.

I am not defending Boss Baby. I’m just having something to say since last time they had a punching bag, people like Clay Claymore and MegaDoopTV vowed revenge by bashing shows that the community likes or liked.
