For real, the people complaining about the contemporary political jabs were too young to get the contemporary political jabs in the original series. I have seen two, though, who know that Animaniacs has always been like that and say that the show has always been shit. They’re humorless dopes, of course.

Voice Actor availability,or something. I read somewhere that the writers said Minerva wouldn’t be in the show. Alright,she was an extremely minor character,but they said others might not be back either.

Nate Ruegger has a point. (Is that Nathan Ruegger, AKA Skippy Squirrel?) That’s just as bad as that time Sega didn’t even tell the voice of Sonic, they replaced him with a new actor.  
His other tweets have points too.
 
As for the politics, I understand the original show, as well as Tiny Toons, & Freakazoid were a li’l political, (which is rare for kids shows, even back then) but at least they were kinda bipartisan, and poked fun at both sides. Given the current political divide is so bad nowadays, and current trends in animation, it’s kinda understandable why some are worried they might go overboard with the politics, or become too biased.
 
And even some liberals themselves are getting tired of hearing about the “orange man of doom” constantly, and wanna get away from that sometimes. I don’t worship him either, but I get tired of it too.

I kinda miss the old “Trump’s hair” jokes, long before he ran as president.
 
I guess maybe some are overreacting, and I wouldn’t mind a few political jokes, as long as they don’t go overboard.  
It’d be funny if they also had another cyclops that looked like Biden, and have them fight as a joke about the election.

I thought the trailer was alright. As long as the reboot pokes fun at both sides (including themselves) and the jokes are well-written/funny, I think we should be fine.

Yeah, it at least looks promising. Kinda hope it has other skits/characters besides Pinkie and the Brain though. (Nice to see them back too.)
 
Yacko’s beginning monologue about reboots, and Hollywood’s lack of creativity is a nice bit of self-deprecational humor.
