Disney wants money. No matter what and that is the problem with the live action remakes. It’s just soul grabbing.

The more money spent on it the more money it goes to Disney.

To me I think people watch live action movies because it’s a sort of gimmick.

It might not be a new journey. But it’s like a what if scenario. OMG What if it were real?!?!?!

Even as a kid I definitwly fell for the gimmick of those Jungle Book live action adaptations in the 90s and 2000s.

It might be shallow but people want the familiar but with a new coat of paint.

The problem though with Live Action comes off as bad.

And Disney own faults for it go with the Lion King. A movie about animated Lions.

Yeah unforunately people will go for anything.

But I think Disney should realize if audiences can go for anything they can also go for something new and fresh.

I’m hoping that animated movie Wish from Disney will prove that true.

Well we do have some animated movies by Disney like Encanto and that wierd one that me think disney was on to something with Sci-fi again. Disney’s weaknesses are always Sci-fi it seems.

Yeah I hope so.

It might just be me though but Encanto seems to have been forgotten. Its kind of ashame. I feel like of all the movies to milk, Encanto would be a great one to explore the world and characters. But Disney is just ignoring it. I wish it got the Tangled series treatment (honestly Encanto probably deserves it more).

My point is that I hope they push of their marketing and culture around celebrating animation.

They can make as many lame live action reboots. But please at least give some love back to animation. Just like how Tangled gave a Disney revival I want to see it again.

I know. That film’s sequel was the only thing that salvaged Disney’s terrible 2022.

They made it into a movie instead of a series. The plot and setup work better as a series.

So it’s coming in that, not surprising, Seth Rogan is the worst part of the Mario Movie.

Jeez Mario fans are fickle. When we first heard his voice fans were in love with it.
When we first heard Mario, fans hated it and now everyone loves it.

I think it was just people that wanted to bitch about Chris Pratt for no reason. Seth was always a blemish on the film from who I talked to. Now we know Seth never even bothered trying since he’s a narcissist that plays himself in every movie he’s in.

I feel like Disney Live-Action Remakes is to see how much nostalgia one Corporation can milk out before it dries up.

I’ve known that for a long time now.

Speaking of, the review embargo’s up, and… there was a reason for the review embargo.

It’s too bad. I had high hopes for this thing ‘cause Nintendo, but giving the movie to Illumination is gonna go down with giving the SNES-CD to Philips. Let’s just be thankful the Toads don’t do any of that Minion crap.

AH the trail mix reviews.

I’m personally betting once the hype dies down this movie will be remembered as an okay fanservice film. Something to put on in the background or if your drunk.

Ya know. Like your average GTA game gets after a year.
