My favorite moment in A Bug’s Life is when Hopper kills several of his jerkass minions to prove a point about underestimating the ants…a concern that would come true in the end.

Sure, he’s the villain, but you can’t disagree with him no matter which side you’re on (plus, considering those minions gleefully hoped Hopper’s poor brother would be on the receiving end of his wrath, you don’t feel bad for them at all).

Kids’ WB! promos were insane.

I love how Daffy Duck is muttering some kind of mantra about a genie, then the second a guy tries to kill him he instantly stands up before the axe hits him and screams “WATCH IT, BUB!!!”

WB Animation and Cartoon Network Studios are now one studio; both labels will still exist but for all intents and purposes CN Studios has been absorbed into WB Animation (kinda like how New Line Cinema is now just a name for WB and nothing more).

The stuff that’s been announced is still being made (for now). It’s just the production side of things aren’t going to be separate. WB and CN’s teams are going to merge.

So there’s been lots of misinformation circulating regarding the CN Studios debacle.

No, it’s not going away or shutting down. They still have their output and work being made and it’s business as usual. It’s just no longer a separately operated team or unit. The CN Studios and WB Animation teams will be working on each other’s slate now.

As for the CN Studios offices at Burbank’s Third Street, their days are now numbered since it’s all but inevitable they’ll put all animation employees in the WB lot a few miles away.

They added “Sofia the First” on Disney+, I got a new binging lineup.

Looking back on old cartoons and how they often made coloring mistakes, like Luigi wearing Mario’s cap in one episode of the Super Mario Bros. Super Show… how often were brain-farts in those studios?

I’d watch it.
