This isn’t Velma. Just like a lot of Marvel and DC characters. They’re one note husks the writers parade out to do whatever and back they go - And even if this was Velma; She can a lot better then that ham-fisted self-insert she keeps creaming her undies over… It feels the exact same as with Blossom as just as cringey if not worse.

And she’ll probably be a villain “redeemed” through “love” even after using everyone.

This is about the Velma that came out in the recent movie Trick or Treat, not the one from the upcoming HBO series.

The Trick or Treat Velma is a lesbian, no one knows what the HBO Velma’s sexuality is yet. The point still stands is that there is a version of Velma that is a lesbian.

A lot of those big companies do. Why else do you think they pander to such easy, thoughtless targets? Now there’s a tik tok vids of “employees” from these tech sites showing off their “job” and it’s just one big daycare, where they do nothing. It’s obviously smoke and mirrors to hide the dark side.

Apparently “The Little Mermaid” animated series features, in two episodes, a deaf-mute mermaid named Gabriella, named after a 2-year old girl who was a fan of the show (and sadly passed away from leukemia during the show’s first season, so the character was created to honor her).

WBD is preparing to begin another round of layoffs on Tuesday.

Rumor is that Cartoon Network Studios, DC and Adult Swim will be targeted.
