I’m just tired of reviews blowing the movies’ flaws out of proportion. It’d be nice to see more reviews that talk about the positives of the movie because there are plenty. So far the only major channels not to bash on it for existing are Mangakamen and
Andre/Black Nerd Comedy.
Both Space Jam Movies are essentially the same from when they start out in the beginning. I actually like how they included the Looney Tunes into Lebron’s childhood compared to the first. The Tunes themselves actually got a little more shine compared to the last movie, and I enjoyed the gags that were used here
(Porky rapping may have been a little lame but it’s better than hearing him say he pissed himself at the sight of the Monstars). I thought Don Cheadle/Al G was a better villain than Swackhammer tbh, because he at least was an active antagonist and it was entertaining seeing him slowly meltdown as the tables were being turned on him. The only thing Swackhammer has going for him is being voiced by Danny Devito.
Could the music be better? Sure and they should’ve made a Space Jam Remix, at least “We Win” was pretty good. The pacing could’ve been tightened more, but the plot was easy to follow. I dunno why everyone else had trouble.
Lebron’s interactions with the Tunes felt a lot more genuine than MJ though as some people pointed out he was only given minimal lines in the original.
As for animation, I thought it was pretty good for the most part. My favorite portion would have to be
Wonder Woman’s comicbook world and it’s kinda sad most folks overlook that. The CGI wasn’t too bad, Lola kinda got the short end but everyone else looked fantastic, Daffy especially.

It’s funny how Peter went from being an explorer to working at a law firm to being the weeb that no one wants to hang with.
