Unfortunately many of the jokes and parodies they had, would never fly now a days. But who knows, the 4th season of it kinda suffered since Aaron McGruder left the writing chair,but if he comes back for the reboot,it may actually be good…

O my god I Loved that show as a little kid. The animation might be different though since Hasbro bought the company that did it.

I mean yeah I know that. But sometimes people finding it jarring when animation style is different than what it used to be in a show… Hopefully they don’t change it that much.

Batman: TAS is on HBO Max.

Yeah, originally Marge was going to be revealed to have been a Life in Hell rabbit.  
It even made it into the arcade game.  
I think they could still do that.  
Simpsons has done plenty of episodes that clearly contradict themselves.

The episodes are featured in airdate order there. For example, The Cat and the Claw Part 1 premiered at a special time on Saturday mornings on Fox Kids, with the second part premiering the week after, which is why it comes seven episodes later, as in between that, On Leather Wings aired at a special time on Sunday Night and Heart of Ice, Feat of Clay parts 1 and 2, It’s Never Too Late, and Joker’s Favor aired on Monday-Friday. The Hub did something similar when they aired Batman: TAS, having it mostly run in airdate order, except 2-part episodes weren’t split up.
 
The DVD and Blu-Ray sets have the episodes in production order.
