And the people that say she never “paid” for her sins are pretty off base. Everything she worked towards was destroyed, she was alienated by anyone who ever cared about her, and she went on to willingly sacrifice herself to a mind-raping sociopath to save the women she loved. She would have even died right then and there had it not been for Adora’s healing magic. Finally, she risked her own life again to save Adora not once, but three times during the last two episodes. She paid her dues pretty hard all things considered.

I just watched Mulan for the first time in years. That was a good movie.  
My favorite scene is where Shang leaves his sword behind in tribute to the fallen soldiers they come across and Mulan places the doll against it.  
I love the score in that whole scene too. While Mulan isn’t my favorite Disney movie,I’d still say it’s one of their best.  
I’m cautiously optimistic about the new live action version,Donnie Yen is in it,but I know that only because he’s a composite character in the new film to replace Shang,who the producers or someone didn’t like. I’ve seen merchandise leaked out and some of it looks better than others.  
The only other Disney remake I’ve seen in the theaters was Lion King.that one did not impress me.

One of the worst takes I’ve seen in a while.
