When Death Battle was still fun… every year or so i watch one episode and i mostly just cringe.

I don’t mind some limited scarcity on figures, i take much issue on that with Magic the Gathering where they basically produce a lot of garbage every edition they bring out: cards no one wants to play and cards your get dozens of times due to rarity distribution.

Some uber fans got pissy when i used some these worthless cards for arts and crafts, actually recycling them for something neat.

But NFTs is just worthless nothingness. And now you supposed to buy nothing for a tiny chance to get the real version. I hope the backlash is strong on this, companies at one point need to get the message that only retards want that shit.

Crypto has been crashing every 4-6 months for the last 10 years and coming back stronger each time. The last crash 3 months ago was particularly brutal, but most coins have already recovered to between a third and half their highest value, and there’ve been no shortage of new coins introduced.

Ah, so in other words it’s like that one annoying fly that keeps buzzing you no matter how many times you swat at it.

Until it gets too large or numerous to swat but also most of its shitty bits are pruned off and it’s just another new part of life, like needing a smartphone to do banking or an email address to live.

yes its pure garbage system, MTG is just the one that i fell into the most and got tired of it after roughly 10 years of playing. And i said i don’t mind it on figures that also depends, i don’t mind a figure you can buy that has limited quantity at some event or otherwise scarcity as long as its not a gamble… i definitely hate rarity in randomized figures. Like on the Mighty Jaxx Hidden Dissectibles or the Pop Mart MLP figures.

With everything like the MeToo movement, the Weinstein case, and all the other high profile reports of rape/sexual harassment, i feel like a whole thing where the whole setting/punchline is “rape lol” would not go over as well as it would back in the early days of the fandom.
