So, uh, apparently there is one.

It’s funny how attached to these villagers you can become. I got a li’l sad when some of my favorites moved out. lol

I’m starting to see a disturbing trend in my visitor lineup. So much so that I’ve put a speculation column into my data, and if it doesn’t hold, I’ll give up $1 million, which is the kind of money I don’t have.

So I missed half my money rock because I was using pre-placed fences and was off by 1 degree. Money rocks also turn out to be hittable for ~100 frames less than other rocks…

I won an auction for diy money flooring and they gave me the other fruits.

So my shovel broke after 57 uses, instead of 100. This means customization was changed to randomize durability. Or it was just changed.

Which shovel was it?

Patterned, IIRC it has 100 hits. I refurbished it yesterday after gold spot, 48 rock hits (1 fail on money rock) and at least 3 fossils. Today it broke after 55 uses (6 fossils, 48 rock hits, and gold spot), maybe it only partially restores durability?

Got Kicks today. Because my weekly visitors were consistently shunted to the end of the week before, this might be promising.

Pretty sure it’s been over a week since I last played.

I don’t think they can move out without you addressing them about it.

So it looks like I’m not getting Redd this month. Like, a whole month without Redd.
 
I’m going to bet AU$1B that I won’t get him before October 23.

So it appears customizing shovels decreases their durability. Can anyone confirm this?

I expected things to look a bit different for summer.
 
But i did catch a dorado.

Saharah didn’t spawn until the hourly bell. I’m starting to get suspicious. I’m thinking my game might be trying and failing to spawn Redd…

As soon as I saw the plaza on the title screen I knew I had CJ today.  
-No one was at the Plaza, ruling out Kicks (who I had Monday), Leif and Label.  
-I had Saharah yesterday.  
-I had Flick and Gulliver last week.  
-I’m mathematically locked out of Redd for the same reason you can’t have a shiny female starter in Gen II.
