What means your Username?

Pinto Bean is an OC/ponysona I created to reflect my personal preference for vegetarian cuisine (see profile image). I seriously did NOT intend for it to suggest anything to do with the genitalia of a female horse!

My username is from one of my favorite pictures, which is my profile pic, made by the artist ketnipz. Ketnipz is love, ketnipz is life.

My previous first name, HighRollerHydra, contrary to what everyone else on this site thinks, was NOT a reference to HYDRA from Captain America (as I hadn’t seen the first movie until 2016, when I started renting remaining MCU movies I hadn’t seen in theaters on iTunes so I could be all caught up). No, it’s a reference to the “High Roller” and “Hydra” weapons from Resident Evil Revelations (this was back in 2012, at the time the only MCU movie I’d seen was “The Avengers”), and I thought they sounded cool together.
 
I got sick of everyone on this site saying “Hail HYDRA” to me over and over again (you do know HYDRA is basically Marvel’s version of Nazis, right?), so I changed it to Minshi Woods, which is a location in “The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild”.
 
Unfortunately, people kept pointing out that it’s supposed to be spelled Minish, as in “The Minish Cap”, despite Minshi Woods clearly being labeled in the game. So I finally changed it to Great Plateau, the starting location of the game (and the tower you fight on in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate), and it’s spelled with two words that you can look in a dictionary.
 
As for why I chose a location to be my name? Well…there was an artist on a website who went by Lake Hylia, who sadly vanished for…reasons.

I think it’s because his wife Stacky was considering becoming a mother someday. And for a guy who draws NSFW art…well…that is a problem, especially if you don’t want your future kids knowing that you draw that stuff.

It basically originates with my young self spending stupid countless hours on the internet, specifically at night when my family didn’t bother me. Regret comes for me when I realize how late it is when sun comes out, It still happens sometimes.

My username was from 5th grade me, I liked Pokémon and mlp so I though rainbow dash and eevee :333

I created this username like 15 years ago. Back then, my favorite song was low man’s lyric by metallica. Me being the creative guy that I am, I just used the first and last words of the title.

My username I use for pretty much everything now.
 
I’m a very quirky person and very random so I earned the nickname That One Guy. There’s always that one guy as the saying goes.
 
Personally I like it, its fitting.
 
I’m also an avid gamer so I felt I needed a little extra to it.

But there’s more, a lot of people think the 18 is my age, but though I am 18 right now, the 18 stands for 2018 the year I went to college for the first time. Which was a pretty big deal to me.

Well, I’ve always been a fan of the Magpul Industries company. They make great products, have awesome customer service, and are a firearm community pop-culture favorite. And pony because I also like ponies. Creative, I know.

My fan nickname for Pinkie Pie. Doesn’t have connection with those breadcrumbs.

I picked the username FalcoDash107 cause I went by the name “Falco Lombardi” on most sites. And with derpi being pretty much the largest brony site, I decided to mash it up with the name “rainbow dash” then put a couple of numbers at the end

I chose mine years back based on a Sonic the Hedgehog fan character from the 1990s, Sandra Nightweaver. She was one of the first images I ever downloaded from the Internet back in 1997. She was this slick-looking black vixen with either robotic or armored lower legs, and she wore a green jacket. I just thought it was THE coolest design I ever saw. She was a regular in my fanart for awhile. The “20xx” is straight out of Mega Man. It sounded cool to use and was also useful because I would have to keep changing my name with the year.

Mine came to be from irl traits/interests.
 
Back when I first became aware of the fandom I was very shy (some things never change…xD) and my favorite character was Fluttershy because of how much her personality reminded me of my grandmother to the t’s. xD
 
When I developed an OC, I wanted something to reflect myself personally, so I made an OC of earthy tones (as I find most of my happiness comes from nature itself.) & named him after my favorite season of the year, Autumn.

My usernamne is just a riff on that ol’ joke. There’s comrade Glimmer as well, but I don’t think they like me much. This is arguably my most creative username yet, as its the one I’m most proud of.  
I was going to create a persona with it, but I think I just come across as generally unknowing and idiotic.
 
The description was something that just came into my head, and so I used it.

Really? I always wondered about that.

My username came from my love of survival games and my love for anything thats under the dark and horror category of both fanfiction and fimfiction. I like games and fanfics that involve more than just a plain old boring serial killer that everybody hiding from.

Mine came from an MST3K episode (i think it was Escape 2000). I wanted to choose a MST3K line for my username and the Leave The Bronx line came to mind.
