My FB status tribute to him:“Just found out that Peter Green, co-founder of Fleetwood Mac, their original main guitarist and brains, passed away today. He was a leading light in the British blues boom of the
60s, alongside the likes of Eric Clapton et al. He was tremendously influential, writing songs covered by many great bands from Santana to Judas Priest and beyond.He was an all around an amazing person, and very very warm and humble from what I’ve read and seen. He had a real passion and soulful connection to the music he played and lived through but a distaste for fame, which may explain why not exactly everybody and their dog may be too familiar with him.Still, he manages to have countless fans to this day, and left an indelible mark on music and pop culture.RIP
