With ex-Ted Nugent/White Spirit singer (and slight Lou Gramm of Foreigner-soundalike) Brian Howe replacing the masterful Paul Rodgers after the band’s initial split, this album tends to learn more on the pop/AOR side of the 80s rock pile. Aside from the songs I picked above, I’d say this album altogether isn’t a knock out of the park. Heck, barely even a strike!
Still, could have been worse, and at least the musicianship is pretty on point.
