Twink, aka Mohammad Abdullah (Formerly John Alder), is considered a very important figurehead in the history of British Underground music, having played in various Psychedelic, Space rock and Protopunk bands over the years including Tomorrow, The Pretty Things, Pink Fairies, Hawkwind, Stars, The Rings and the Bevis Frond, as well as a prolific solo musician.
