I just got two messages on Xbox while watching Hulu. Some spammers (read: scammers) want to “buy” my Xbox Live account.

First world problem time, I know, but am I wrong for getting really damn annoyed at people from other countries clowning on Americans and even saying they hate Americans?

Like, I understand why but especially when we’re already having to deal with so much shit going on in this country, it feels like jabs of “Death to America” and “Yanks are so stupid” and mocking us for doing literally anything is just kicking us while we’re down. I even have friends who are Europeans who outright say they hate Americans and want this country to burn right to my face. Y’all know I’d be burning too, right? Or do you not care?

I dunno. Maybe it’s just my upbringing of “Treat others the way you want to be treated” but it seems crappy. Fuck, I already feel bad enough being from this country, you don’t need to rub it in.

The sanitization of art vexxes me greatly.

I got a notice that a pin I saved on my Pinterest was removed due to “promotion of self harm”.

I was sitting there trying to think which one, cause it was in my anthro board which is mostly big tiddie anthro girls.

Then I remember there was a peice of art in there that was about fucking recovery that just so happened to show an anthro girl with scars on her wrist.

But an image of recovery gets flagged as “promoting self harm”.

Whitewashed weakass bullshit that is.

People who do this are assholes, plain and simple. Every country has stupid people in it, every country has awful people in it, but every country also has mostly normal-ass people who get sick of always being lumped into the vocal minorities.

Spent like 6 hours of my day watching videos satirizing and criticizing drama and commentary channels and I’m so glad that this genre is getting scrutinized. These “slop” channels as they’re called tend to cover the same drama over and over that it gets tiring and minimal effort is put into making them all in order to get views and clicks for profit. That and as a few of them point out, it breeds this sense of “toxicity” that’s just unpleasant to watch and serve nothing but to cause rage and even beat down people who most of the time don’t deserve it because these channels seldom do any research and just regurgitate the same shit over and over. Having my recommended be flooded by this crap really doesn’t help either like I don’t give a shit about the latest YouTuber getting exposed or under some drama, it doesn’t benefit my life whatsoever and I get no catharsis from watching their “downfall” even if they do deserve it.

A lot of them just felt like they were trying to milk whatever drama was currently happening for every last penny, and a lotof the time it basically feel into petty school playground bickerin

That sucks, twitter was great for pony art, for me it made the fandom feel alive and well, as the content is constant. Sucks that so many artist are moving over to bluesky; another division of the fandom :/

I’m guessing it caters to the loud, offended by everything and anything mob. Why are so many chronically online people so thin skinned.

The problem with that is even though those channels focus on drama, they often do a good job of calling out people who are problematic or especially predators, and YouTube often doesn’t do anything about them so these channels step up to say something and raise awareness. It’s too bad that despite these channels good intentions, they also tend to have sticks up their asses

If I didn’t have enough bullshit at work after all the corporate buyout and office staff layoffs, now I’m being evaluated on my efficiency by an “efficiency expert.”

Imma admit, the announcement of one of my beloved Hololive Vtuber Ceres Fauna that she is graduating on January 3rd next year absolutely devastated me so bad, it fucked me up that it made me caught a flu for being so depressed.

She is the girl whom I compared to Fluttershy because they both share similar traits to each other so I drew them.

I don’t think the vast migration over to Bluesky (not just the fandom but like the Internet in general) has to deal not with people being “offended”, but becuase Twitter has just objectively gotten worse and continues to get worse with each passing update ever since Elon took over, and people just wanted to have a site to hang out in without any of the BS on twitter

Haven’t got an account there myself but from what I’ve seen, it’s basically just the same function/user base wise as Twitter pre-Elon bullshit
