Now, that’s a valuable lesson that everyone needs to know and I’m sorry if you had to go through some tough experiences to learn the sad way, the initiation of this band seemed to be the dream career for you and yet there is something that will pull you out of that belief.
It so correct and always consider your mental and physical health above of everything else, because if something bad happens to you, there’s always a replacement on cue.
Don’t ever take yourself for granted, thank you Happy S for taking some time to share your feelings and courage to step out of that toxic place, not the best choice but the right choice. Take care, my friend.

Every day I think we’re just gradually sleepwalking to the events of The Day After and despite everything we can’t stop it because no one who matters listens, wants to do anything about it, or has just given up entirely on the world having any future.

As I’ve said before elsewhere, the people who want to change the world for the better can’t because they don’t have the means, and the people who have those means won’t, because it’s more profitable for them not to.

Ok so something weird I wanted to get off my chest.

One of my favorite Pokemon is Typhlosion, I’ve loved him ever since the Gold and Silver days of the early 2000s, and it was maybe like 7 or 8 years ago a plush of him was finally made, and I got it in an instant. In fact, the name Toasty in my username came from that Typhlosion, and is what I name them anytime I get one in a game.

Well something weird has happened. A big leak at Game Freak showed all these internal documents and beta concepts about Pokemon, but the one that seems to be getting the most buzz is one of the numerous un-utilized folklore type stories, involving a girl who meets a human who turns out to be a Typhlosion, and it basically wipes her memory and has forced offspring with the girl. The whole thing has caused quite a stir for its rather alarming content.

Now I’m smart enough to know this sort of thing (and the other ones I read) are sort of mimicking something you would see Japanese mythology, and even mythology in other cultres as a whole. Yet a wide people are reacting kind of vitriolically, calling Typhlosion as a whole horrible for this beta unimplemented thing.

Naturally, other people are making jokes about the whole thing, drawing art, calling him the new Vaporeon. (Hey guys, did you know?) And calling this sort of aforementioned negative reaction overblown, and I agree.

But I can’t help but have this kind of weird feeling now that my favorite Pokemon has this strange association. I love the guy lots, and the apparent “backlash” is just stupid and bums me out.

These people should see how effed up their favorite childhood fairy tales and stories originally were like Sleeping Beauty, (the Prince does something worse then just kiss her, let’s just say…) the Little Mermaid died originally, Pinocchio killed the cricket, and gets torn apart, among other lovely punishments.
In “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory,” one of the bad kids was originally going to die, until the publisher made him change it, and the Oompah Loompas were originally a Pygmy tribe, until the author had to change that in the 1960s (for obvious reasons) and such. (In fact, the author hated the Gene Wilder movie for not being dark enough.)

At least, this Pokemon thing isn’t canon. I understand it’s disturbing, but people using it as an excuse to demonize the Pokemon involved, or even the entire franchise, are probably going overboard.

Heck, I heard of an unreleased Sonic the Hedgehog orgin story where he was basically the reincarnation of a dead American pilot.

I couldn’t see it again bare eyed BUT… Alhamdulillah my phone’s pro mode cam caught it.

Now clouds immediately formed on where it is. 😶

NGL. I half-expected this tour to further strain my relationship with the band I’m in. But this tour is genuinely so awful that I’m seriously wondering if I still like being a musician.
