All this talk about G5 is making me forget that G4 was even a thing.

Well, watch reaction videos about G4 and accept that G4 not only exists, but that it still has meaning. Yes, I know, everyone only talking about G5 at the moment (as it is after every new release). But G4 will be aging like a fine wine. ;-)

Anyone who’s taken the time to make a pot of homemade spaghetti from scratch knows part of the enjoyment comes from the involvement & process of being a part of something in the moment.

But for all the fun this can be, the pasta is best only after it’s set for a bit, the fire long since died down & everything is allowed to marinate.

An odd analogy perhaps, but it feels right to me. ^_^

The morals of the story remain unchanged & the fandom will be around even after the worst humanity can unleash upon itself.

I hope Myoozik and Beth are doing alright out there rn.

I’m doing alright, things are still surprisingly calm here, the actual storm itself won’t fully impact my area until like the dead of night when I’m asleep. Beth I’m really worried since she’s closer to the supposed impact zone than I am.

So according to forecasts, it’s gonna go down to a Category 1 by the time it’ll pass by me so I’m not gonna get hit by the worst of it. That’s a good thing, even though already parts of my backyard fence have been knocked over.

That same sigh of relief I had 3 days ago. From here and on, I’ll never start worrying about these things the next time a violent hurricane makes landfall, weaken from their present state before even reaching to my location.

…Unless if they maintain that intensity or weaken slightly but still considered powerful.

This mountain range named Sierra Madre plays a very important role on many communities here in Luzon because acts as a natural shield against powerful typhoons. When a 180 something MPH Cat 5 makes landfall in that area, the rugged terrain would disrupt the circulation of the storm. The next six hours of hitting this landmass, a typhoon downgrades back from Cat 5 to 2 or 1.

Florida on the other hand lack this feature that’s why some of their hurricanes even if it weakens, still feels powerful.

But sadly, power hungry and corrupt organizations and syndicates are destroying this land for their resources and location for building illegal materials such as resorts and entertainment compound. Desecrating this landscape would mean catastrophic consequences on all of us.
