I hate this shit too. It fucking disgusts me.

I might, just might, have a chance at Cornell, an Ivy League school, to get my Masters degree, but I’m seriously considering moving to England and doing my masters at LSHTM instead. Sorry but America is falling apart and I am not going down with the ship.

As someone that’s been to England multiple times, you’ll get the same level of problems there too. Grass ain’t always greener.

Well, what a right snake in the grass I’ve got today.
 
On news of rioting in another part of the city, my store closed down even earlier and set me home.
 
Everyone wants to blow it off, because it’s ‘just Wal-mart, they have insurance’, but I’m not so clueless as to think they’re the only place in danger and as equally financially protected as every other business.
 
I have no idea what could happen. I might not have a job soon, I don’t know.

Yes, the specific policeman did commited a murder and should receive the apropiate punishment for that. No, I don’t approve the idea of lynching him nor approve the idea of making a violent riot for all the city, some of them just acting out of resentment and a excuse to vent in the worst possible way.

Wow, it sure is great that we locked a bunch of people up in their homes and kept them out of work/school for three months straight! That hasn’t at all created a bunch of boiling pressure/resentment across large swaths of society that was just waiting for the right incident as an excuse to start venting violently!
