What is it with these folks and their insatiable desire to “conform” everything to their standards that they feel the need to BUTCHER everything to become “realistic” and “relatable”?

I feel like there’s a time and place for social themes even within fiction, and even if they’re done with a lack of subtlety, if the story surrounding the themes is good I can enjoy it regardless. However, if I feel like I’m being outright preached to, it’s a turn-off even if I agree with the presented themes and ideas.

To a point they’d demand and FORCE developers to “uglify” and butcher the personalities of fictional characters to fit their deranged narcissistic standards of “relatability”? Dog piling, sending death threeats and threats of deplatforming to anyone who refuse to “conform” to their puritanical set ideas?
 
These people need to be THROWN out of industries.

The animation and art style WAS certainly…. different.  
Everything felt blurry and drawn out. Yeah, initially the anime was hand drawn and animated like most anime of that era.

Was Badheart that one bp who came in talking about alcohol poisoning?
