You’d think with self moderation tools, and such on most sites allowing you to block, or report people, we wouldn’t need a “nanny algorithm” everywhere on every site.

Though, personally I rarely block people. (I’d rather someone say something to me, then behind my back.) Only time I ever did was a rando calling me racial slurs (that are my wrong race BTW lol, granted I’m a mix) over and over again, and I blocked it because he was filling up my comments with his posts, which annoyed me more then the slurs.

It’s really bad on YouTube too with it’s A.I. run algorithm administration. I’ve had completely harmless comments get deleted, and I’ve heard many others have had that problem too.

Artificial Intelligence is more like Artificial Stupidity…

No I don’t, I’ve never been to Starbucks my whole life and never will be in the future nowadays after I found out they are one of the companies that support that country.

I’m glad my friends agree.

So my mother is studying caregiving and once she pass and graduate, she will find a new job in New Zealand and my only main concern is, caregiving is usually a risky job of taking care of old geezers who can no longer sustain themselves and can be rowdy and violent towards their caregivers.

I hear the salary in that sector is much higher than being a DH in Hong Kong so that’s good.

I salute my mother’s courage but fear and concern for her safety and well being.

Anyways, is “caregivers are usually abused by their carers” a media brainwash or anything slandering about this job?

Annoying Orange ruining air travel? Never thought I’d see the day

It’s funny that “Annoying Orange” is now old enough for people to get nostalgic over.

In fact, I used to like it back when it was Internet shorts, but it really didn’t translate well into a half hour TV series for me. The TV show also made a lot of people hate it, in fact. (Kinda like how the “Fred” movies ruined “Fred” for some, granted I never liked Fred.)

That’s why I get a little worried about internet shows becoming mainstream, or picked by major companies/streaming services. At least, “Digital Circus” avoided that when it went on Netflix and it stated independant. Hopefully, Lackadaisy stays true to itself too.

I miss our former leader here in the Philippines that used to hunt down drug lords and dealers.

It felt like yesterday when he got inaugurated.

Remember when Facebook used to be a lovable app? 2008-2013?

No politics, no drama, no strict policies, no censorship, etc.

Only likes and no other react buttons. The Haha react has become a toxic symbol of riddiculement and bullying.

And the best part? They used to have games like FarmVille, CarTown, Pet Society, Mafia Wars, Angry Birds, Poker. Sorry for the nostalgia…

We used to live a good fucking times back then. Now, we live in a dystopian state of SocMed. ;(
