I just got back from the liquor store and I got an ad for a whiskey that I can’t remember the name for at the moment. And I haven’t even Googled any alcohols recently! How pervasive are these advertising algorithms?!

I’ve basically had to, since the liquor store has a preference for cards since there’s still fearmongering about the pocket change shortage.

The pocket change shortage happened once last year during the early parts of the pandemic, but again this late into it I half-suspect it’s just an excuse to not handle cash (which I’ll admit I didn’t have much on me at the times.)

Coins are pointless anyway.

Fun to collect, annoying to spend.
