Vent thread

My feet fucking hurt from walking around for 7 hours pushing carts and cleaning the store, but at least it was the most productive I’ve been in a very long time.

Ever ponder “what ifs”?
 
I can point to 3 events that would have changed my life extremely.
 
I’m not sure anyone else has such clear realizations of the pivotal decisions in ones life.

If I had stayed home like intended too years ago, I’d of never almost died when I flipped my car. And I’d never had the outlook on life I have now.
 
One year earlier, if I’d of finished in my ex I’d be a father right now.
 
And, one event I’ll not say here which defined my personality.

I’ve had things as simple as dropping off a TV for a friend on a certain day make a huge difference in my life. Some differences from things have been small, others huge. It doesn’t take much to alter course immensely.

If places with trees are called Woods, why aren’t barren deserts called Rocks or Sands?

Man, I just learned about the whole Nazi Derpibooru drama and in so pissed about that. Like, this wasn’t an issue before so why is it one now? When did we ever care about what Twitter thinks?
 
Now that’s two of my favourite sites having a bunch of people leave. That sucks. This whole thing sucks. I’m so disappointed at everyone who got involved, especially the mods and admins that started it and decided to double-down on it like crying infants. You guys are supposed to be adults. Act like it!

My excuse? For what? Not digging up dead drama so I can shake my head at people or not being involved in that dumpster fire? I get you were trying to end your comment on a pithy comeback but it comes of as a nonsequitur.
 
The only thing more pathetic then being involved in that mess is bitchiing about it months after its concluded and everyones moved on.

I think about the “What If’s” a lot. Whenever certain things get talked about I tend to think about things in RL and Fantasy. Like how things would be if all these terrible events between black and white people never happened, and they just met on equal grounds.
 
Sometimes I wonder how things would be if actual monsters existed, and how that would of affected not just me, but human society as a whole. The only thing that comes close to being a monster a “Psychopath”, “Rapist”, “Terrorist”, “Slavers”, “Pedophiles” and whatever else that society might deem a monster.
