I wasted like 80 bucks apparently. I replaced my sound system due to severe audio buzzing. Did everything I could think to fix it. Now my new system was also buzzing. Which left me very, very confused.




Lo and behold, it was interference from the power cable. All I had to do was move one speaker cable to the opposite side of my computer.

A buzzing sound? You should replace the capacitors. Some of them might be dead.

It was just outside interference. Until I can get a ferrous wrap I've just moved the audio cable away from the power cable.

It's my own fault for buying cheap cables without shielding.

I see. You need the ferrous wrap to have a Faraday cage effect to prevent outside interference.

Or make a DIY one. I made one once out of brass pipe filters (for smoking pipes, not plumbing), it worked fairly well. Looked ghetto as hell, but worked.

Germany is making it so fucking hard for me! I need to translate documents, certify existing documents, finish my Vorpraktikum report, get health insurance and all the goddamn instructions are fucking vague and confusing!

I took 4 years of German and can barely speak a lick of it. I don't envy you right now.

4 years is quite a long time since I spent like one and a half year studying German to B1.

I still suck at it though.
