I don't think the vast migration over to Bluesky (not just the fandom but like the Internet in general) has to deal not with people being "offended", but becuase Twitter has just objectively gotten worse and continues to get worse with each passing update ever since Elon took over, and people just wanted to have a site to hang out in without any of the BS on twitter
Haven't got an account there myself but from what I've seen, it's basically just the same function/user base wise as Twitter pre-Elon bullshit
