Unpopular opinion time (super alpha no pony edition)

Am I the only one finds comparing Velma and The Last Wish to be a bit tacky?

I mean while The Last Wish is obviously far superior, the two properties are apples and oranges. Both are doing different things.

I just feel like the comparison seems a bit shallow.

On another note I feel like comparing Bluey and Friendship is Magic is a bit oversimplifying too

I want people to compare Velma to Bojack Horseman, The Boys, or Breaking Badass, shows that also have asshole protagonists The Last Wish is only being compared because it’s recent.

That’s literally it, I know Velma ducks but it’s weird to compare the 2

What I’m going to say applies to books, movies, music, TV shows, etc, but I think a small fraction of the fans actually care about the content they enjoy.

You are not the only one. Some are comparing the two. One did a side by side video of both theirPanic attack scenes. Also said video’s comment section also talked about what to and not to do with when someone having a panic attack. The video in question

A lot of the times these comparisons don’t even make any sense and doesn’t strengthen any argument and they just bring it up for the sake of it.

It’s also because both have a character who have no redeeming quality whatsoever, but while Velma thinks that’s an okay thing to be and makes that the protagonist, The Last Wish makes him a villain and makes him funny.
