yes. the binge format burns though content like a fire and gives shows maybe a 10th the staying power. a weekly release lets things ruminate, build interest, lets there be discourse and discussion.

im just saying that on the laundry list of all the dumb shit Netflix has done recently, the binge format is not that bad compared to all the other problems they’ve done

(and beesides, other services besides Netflix have one the binge model too so it;s harldy something unique to Netflix)

Alright so I saw “Lightyear” after hearing so much shit being thrown at it by articles and all I can say is, THIS is Pixar’s worst movie, really? I personally thought the movie was eh, not one of their greatest, but calling it one of their worst is a disservice to the studio as a whole. I take it these people forgot that Cars 2 was a thing.

If the countless articles I’ve been reading is any indication. Didn’t help that some of them were quick to use the “woke” card because it featured a same sex couple which wasn’t that important to the plot.
