Lindsay Ellis was better when she was making stuff as the Nostalgia Chick. (She was actually a lot funnier and more on point than Doug back then.)
 
I also don’t get why Lindsay Ellis is basically worshiped and everything she says is taken as gospel these days.

I think the Klingons are possibly the dumbest, worst designed race in all of sci-fi and it baffles me how much people have latched onto them.
 
 
Their concept of “honor” is the equivalent of a schoolyard bully that will hurl insults at everyone else with reckless abandon but take supreme umbrage if anyone fights back.

Other races got expanded on in the right way, like what DS9 did for the Ferangi. But honestly it made the Klingons even worse, with the exception of Martok and the chick Quark “marries”, all the others are just idiots.

I think most people just like how boisterous Klingons are. The type of people who dress up as them.  
The Ferengi would probably get more cosplayers if their makeup wasn’t so complex.

Sounds like a race that should be treated as a childish “might makes right” civilization, hence why it’s “honorable” for them to be sneaky but not their opponents.
