I have to strongly disagree with that, cause you need to credit the artist, studio, or company; cause not doing that will get a lot of people accusing you of stealing. Even if it’s a redesigned of a pre-established character, crediting is important.

I honestly doubt that’s their reason. Not like both western and eastern has more than one artstyle and the artists are limited to what they can draw.

I can’t help but think of the old memes getting redesigned to be as ugly as possible for no reason. Seriously, it adds nothing other than making people with standards not want to touch them. The old designs were crude, but that was part of the charm and didn’t make people’s eyes bleed.

I’ve seen plenty of people make art of established franchises and stuff and nor mention the creators of said franchise and I’ve never seen anyone complain about it.

Oh, got confused with another anime regarding the Uzaki-chan controversy. My bad.

Honestly, reading the Wikipedia summary, an actual problem with Uzaki-chan is it implying that being an introvert is a bad thing since it’s an extrovert trying to turn an introvert into an extrovert.

It’s the character I misremembered as an oppai loli. On that note, does anyone know any non-hentai oppai loli, which would give the people saying that Uzaki-chan is unrealistic?

People say they Uzaki’s design is garbage because despite her tits, she’s short and has a youthful face, so she’s apparently child-coded, which means that if you find the design appealing, you’re attracted to a character who looks like a child, so you’re a pedo, even though Uzaki is roughly 20.

The anime just looks really boring tbh

To be fair, we do have shit like legal lolis, so there’s a reason for that mindset, though I do agree that Uzaki isn’t one of them. 20 is still young, and anime tends to make characters not look their age.
