@Penguin Dragneel
Then anyone who says they dislike things I like, ior lieks things I dislike should expect to get an opinion from me every time, right?
I hate how it seems like you can’t find any middle ground on any opinions or anything. Like you NEED to be on one end or the other regarding something.

Holy crap, I’ve said the same thing. It’s so annoying. Like, why does acknowledging that there are flaws with capitalism automatically mean you want a society like Soviet Russia? That’s the black and white fallacy.
TBH, I think that people who act this way probably just don’t have any good counterarguments and want to shut people down quickly.
@TheHappySpaceman
tbh it’s the same with disagreeing with more liberal policies too with people somehow thinking you are a facist or something.
And i’ve seen this outside of politics too, mostly fandom related things as well (like the the arguments if the pre or post alicorn twilight MLP seasons are better or worse then the other)
@icey wicey 1517
tbf there are certain social or political issues that dont technically have a middle ground and trying to create a middle ground on them will end up giving ammo to one side over the other. Not every single issue, but certainly quite a few.
But as a general yeah there is a bit too much of people thinking you have to take one side or the other especially in regards to media.
@TheHappySpaceman
People dont understand that Social Democrats, Anarchists, Democratic Socialists, Syndicalists etc. exist which leads them to think that everyone who hates capitalism is just some Stalinist in disguise. And lots of people cant see through the countless amounts of “murica is s00pa free n gr8” shit that gets drilled into their brains.
