Mine was about half-full. There were several kids wearing Sonic shirts and hoodies. I, on the other hand, wore my Super Mario sweatshirt. I like to live dangerously.

That, and the overpriced popcorn that has an underwhelming flavor.
 
When I saw Sonic, I saw it at the Regal 14 in Salt Lake City, Utah (the only Regal Cinemas location in my state, as far as I know.) It looked great on the RPX screen, much better picture quality than the two Cinemark locations closer to home. But the popcorn was the typical overpriced crap most chains offered.
 
The only decent movie theater popcorn in my area is the stuff they serve at the Larry H. Miller Megaplex, a local chain that operates mainly in Utah.

I mean, the main cinema room in my town is in a shopping mall - there’s a popcorn stall in the other side of the mall that has better popcorn than the cinema, and in more manageable portions too.

Nah, about half empty, as in about half the seats had no people in them. Maybe it would have been more full on the first day? I don’t know.

True, popcorn is so overpriced. When I went to the cinema the last several times, I only ordered a water and that was it.

Mine was half full when i watching, but nearly the entirety of the room was booked.

I agree that tickets cost a lot. Especially the premium gimmick showings.

I’d try something like that, but most movie theaters in my area have a “no outside food or drink” policy. Also, many cinemas have banned backpacks since the incident in 2008 or 2012 (can’t remember which) in Aurora, Colorado…so sneaking in better popcorn has become even more of a challenge.

I feel like RestEra should just be an anti-gaming forum; it might sound like I’m being harsh, but you get banned from RestEra for being positive for liking a certain or disagreeing with them.

For me it’s Music > Games > Movies. As in I really don’t care about movies at all, games I only care if I like it, and music I also really only care if I like it but I like it more and learning about other stuff is a lot less of a chore than with games or movies.
