Maybe selective hearing, maybe some uninformed game journalism fed into it.

I got Cyber Slueth Complete Edition and it rocks. It would be hard to top as a mainline Digimon Game (whatever ‘main’ is, the games jump around in style all the time).

Digimon has been leaning into these more dramatic stories that are darker, and less orientated on the whole power scaling thing.

I read the reviews on Survive, I mean they are not illegitimate, but for a VA it has a lot of interaction, I would call it a game. I know people prob want more, they’re spoiled lol.

I love Ghost Game. I’m going to get the vital bracelet with Gammamon. Those things are cool, they look like smart watches, you can call it a health thing, but it’s also a little digital pet thing to fidget with. They’re doing it with more than just digimon. The bracelets fit adults and look like smart watches, that’s the best part. incognito child at heart.

I always love the nature girls, like Perfuma in She-Ra.

Also cool to see the strong character actually look like a healthy kinda strong.

My favorite character is Amity, but that’s not an unpopular opinion.

Actually I haven’t said anything unpopular, i’m responding to post. Maybe calling Digimon Survive a game is unpopular lol.

I wouldn’t say that if A) Amity was an only child instead of having 2 twin siblings that will never get paired with anyone and be ignored by not only the fans but by the creator too (and also no longer caring about Erica Lindbeck) and B) Willow was 15 at the start of the show and gone on 16 during Season 2.

That’s not to say her development wasn’t deserved, I just feel like something just made me like her less and less, especially after what I have went through on social media.

You know with the Velma show, I think the whole idea of making Velma the main character wasn’t the best idea.

I think she works better as a side character to Shaggy and Scooby.

I feel like 2022 show desperately wants to capture the magic of Mystery Inc 2011 with its snarky attitude. But fails to realize it has to be balanced with other things like Shaggy and Scooby’s food love or other silly stuff.

If Mystery Inc was just Velma with the others being minor characters I think the show would be kind of boring. We like Velma’s wit in doses not all the way.

And neither Kate Micucci and Mindy Cohn were screwed by any of the makers behind Scooby-Doo media like Dana Terrace did to Lindbeck when both characters are side characters. Especially over who ends up with who.

Probably didn’t help that the cast of Velma feel misnamed from what I’ve heard. Like they could have made it a different gang in the Scooby Doo universe and it would be better.

Well saying I like Willows health doesn’t mean I want to fuck her. Could draw her as an adult that kind of way. Tho I do kinda see the characters as kids, I don’t mind the kissing and hand holding, that’s normal stuff kids do when they grow up, even when they’re gay (they just hid it more back then)

The ages of Owlhouse characters are in a wierd position, where they wouldn’t look much different as 18yo’s. Therefor there is no reason to assume certain NSFW pictures are not 18 if they artist says their are.

Aging is a gradual process. The line is blurred by style. Just to be safe, you can change their clothes or hair, to indicate some time has past, try to make them a little taller or shapelier, but 3 years is not a lot of difference.

Lots of interesting characters are on the blurry line, because our animation is obsessed with youth, and the ‘coming of age’ thing.

Now I wonder if the princesses in She-Ra are of age. If I had porn of some She-ra it’d be because of the designs and stuff, they seem like adults.

I hate how the world is nazi about art. I shouldn’t have to clog my head with stupid social shit, just because I got to worry about the age of some fantasy princess cartoon, or colorful horse.

I would go as far to say that lolicon could be a concerning obsession, but if you accidentally have some loli because you like their dress or magic powers, that should be different.

Good point, even though I was talking about how she is overvalued due to a ship I don’t like that unfortunately became canon to the point where the other 2 TOH characters became nonexistent and ignored over ships and one of the VAs of the two had the worst year in 2022.

They just happen to pair the healthiest character with the least healthy one. Did it get in the way of some other pairing you had in your head? I pair characters freely at will, it’s cool when you can make art or buy it.

Ditch the last part of your name, it just makes people feel bad and confused. You’re not the worst person, you just get some kind of mental release from saying it. There is places to talk, I’m just trying to enjoy the casual conversation here.

Well, thanks but I will stand with the title until people stop hating me or stop forcing me to change for who I am over what they disagree with and acting like my words are having the same energy as any problematic behavior from other worse people. But it’s never gonna happen.

Besides, yes, and it’s Hunter x Emira or Huntmira. Because A) they’re both 16 years old, perfect for when they want to, for a lack of a better word, make love to each other once they both go over 18 and don’t have to wait a year or two until one of the pair turns 18 and is no longer a minor to keep the relationship going. and B) they’re both voiced by ACTUAL VOICE ACTORS. Yes, Erica Lindbeck and Zeno Robinson are VAs who voiced in anime even though their characters were never with each other and never will be. (Not even Hawks and Lady Nagant from MHA)

Sure, Emira and Hunter never interacted, same with him and Edric, but the fact that Terrace hyperfixated on Huntlow, ignoring all side characters, and made the twins hate him in Labyrinth Runners (Emira calling him sickly), as well as Gary Marsh shortening the show for “not fitting the Disney brand” due to the serialized format no longer going on Disney Channel, that will never happen and instead it will exist in unofficial content that doesn’t exist as it will never be adapted into television and film aka fanfiction.

Hell, ever since Any Sport In A Storm, people stopped simping for Emira and stopped shipping Huntmira or even shipping Emira with anyone, let alone making fan content, and thus move on to Willow. Now there’s barely any new Huntmira content on social media.

And no, I am not a good drawer or artist. Because of that, there’s no hope and Emira got cheated on by Hunter thanks to Willow and Terrace, and they broke up and memory wiped themselves with a spell. And Lindbeck made 2022 her absolute worst year.

Sorry for the venting that will start a shitstorm, but I had to say it.

Also, I disliked Huntlow because of the paranoia when people dislike ships that has an age difference, especially ships like Finn and Princess Bubblegum and Sparity. And again, if Willow was 15 at the start and gone on 16 on S2 or if people didn’t hate age gap ships like Sparity, I wouldn’t dislike the ship. Hell, I would have liked for Hunter to be shipped at the same time with both Willow and Emira too. But nope, they will struggle when Hunter is 18 and Willow is 16-17.

Mostly because they believe being smart = being an asshole. Even if Velma wasn’t the main character, everyone else is also too mean-spirited to be likable.

I don’t think you have to change for anyone. Fiction isn’t usually something to judge people over. If you want to write stories, like your own original owlhouse pieces, go for it. Just beware that when people make things exclusively for themselves, it doesn’t get as much attention. You’re still free to make whatever you want and see if someone else likes it.

Unless whatever you’re doing is your job, don’t worry about what people think. Do whatever you want.

Well atleast Huntmira is a thing, that has images. I often do art for things that don’t even have one image.

I often don’t think about how toxic the fanculture space can be. I draw nothing but OC’s mostly, they’re of age if anything sexual is going on.

Yeah I’m not impressed with stupid little age differences debates in cartoon characters. As long as it’s not literal childporn I don’t give a shit. If you cannot confirm that both the depiction is underaged in its particular instance, and that sexual contact is going on in that instance, I don’t care.

Some people use actual minors as sexual references, or giving sexual content to children, these are the fuckers to go after.

B) there’s no AI for the voice cast of the show, all VAs are actual actors, and yes that includes a celebrity that the fans like more than Erica Lindbeck bc of Huntlow, and her name is Tati Gabrielle, the voice of Willow. (And bc she’s Black (let alone Blasian), no wonder Zeno ships Huntlow now and not multiship anymore)

C) Huntmira would have been a thing and had a shit ton of images as Lumity if not for Terrace hating the fans of the show just because she doesn’t want to cater to the fans and doing the story as she wants to with no change by popular demand, even if Disney and Marsh shortened the series.

D) Well, about the title, it’s neither of those things, it’s more like, saying things, then disagreement, and when I make them understand, BOOM! A shitstorm starts. That’s why I am afraid of expressing my defenses and opinions, especially in threads like these. Because someone will say “Is he doing this again?!” or spread hateful memes towards me. And nobody will forgive me even if I say sorry for my behavior or the things I said. And apparently the only way for my apologies to be accepted is if I change for who I am and change my opinions.

He might not be so delicate about it, but he’s not coming to your hovuse to fight you over it.

It’s a little neurotic and self fulfilling. You are paranoid of fights which causes you to fight people.

I mean if you something else is going on I’ll listen. You don’t have to defend yourself here, could sometimes make it worst. Sometimes you won’t be eye to eye or feel respected, but if you expect a fight you could accidentally cause one.

Also some people will feel slighted by you trying too hard to defend yourself. Sometimes it’s best to let awkward things cool on their own. Nobody is up at night rolling around having a fever because of something you say online. I hope.

Velma as a protagonist doesn’t sound bad on paper (I think there were some previous Scooby Doo media that had her in the forefront) and I think the show could’ve been a good successor to Mystery Incorporated if they would’ve wrote her with flaws and insecurities, make her asshole personality be funny, have the supporting cast also be written as characters and tone it down with the self referential, constant lampshade hanging humor.

I think the show could’ve succeeded if they did more rewrites towards it and people told Mindy Kaling that there was more to adult animation than just Rick & Morty.

Honestly it feels like Kailing only cared about Velma and she didn’t even know the others existed. If the other three were not allowed on the show, Mindy probably would just not care.

While I can kinda see this Velma as Velma, it’s a bit harder with Fred and Daphne. Norville is so strange. They made him the most normal character of the crew and got rid of his quirks like eating. The only resemblance to the real Shaggy is that stupid drug joke.

Nah, she’d still insult him because… he’s white, and then somehow he’d also fall in love with her. That’s kind of how Velma’s interactoins with the other characters always go.

I keep grapes with me a lot. I’m hypoglycemic, and grapes are basically pure sugar and water. Perfect to get my sugar back up if I crash.
